چکیده
An MCM-41-SO3H catalyst with 14 wt% S was successfully synthesized to be used in furfural production from xylose and hemicellulose a biphasic n-butanol/water system. The precursor MCM-41 the acid-functionalized were characterized by XRD, FTIR, TEM, N2 physisorption, ICP-MS, TPD-NH3, XPS. characterization results indicated that sulfonic process partially decreased ordered mesoporous structure increased acid strength of initial MCM-41. catalytic performance conversion evaluated batch-type reactor using different ecological renewable ratios (1:1, 1.5:1, 2:1, 2.5:1) as dissolvent at 170 °C. effect mixture clearly seen larger reaction rate TOF values for 1.5:1 ratio. This behavior proper proportion enhanced solubility substrate n-butanol-rich prevented deactivation acidic sulfonated surface groups. To achieve transformation lignocellulosic raw material value-added products, also furfural. recycling evaluation tests recovered submitted sulfonation process, yield closer fresh catalyst.

Furfural Production from d-Xylose and Xylan by Using Stable Nafion NR50 and NaCl in a Microwave-Assisted Biphasic Reaction.
Pentose dehydration and direct transformation of xylan into furfural were performed in a water-cyclopentyl methyl ether (CPME) biphasic system under microwave irradiation. Heated up between 170 and 190 °C in the presence of Nafion NR50 and NaCl, d-xylose, l-arabinose and xylan gave furfural with maximum yields of 80%, 42% and 55%, respectively. The influence of temperature and reaction time on ...
متن کاملSynthesis and characterization of MCM-41-supported Ba2SiO4 base catalyst
A novel MCM-41-supported base catalyst, Ba-MCM-41, was synthesized with a modified impregnation method. Ba2SiO4 was synthesized on the MCM-41 pore wall as confirmed by characterization using X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, X-ray fluorescence, N2 adsorption, Si MAS NMR and transmission electron microscopy. It was also demonstrated that a highly ordered Ba-MCM-41 catalyst wit...

Supported molybdenum carbide (yMo2C/M41) and Cu-promoted molybdenum carbide, using a mechanical mixing and co-impregnation method (xCuyMo2C/M41-M and xCuyMo2C/M41-I) on a mesoporous molecular sieve MCM-41, were prepared by temperature-programmed carburization method in a CO/H2 atmosphere at 1073 K, and their catalytic performances were tested for CO2 hydrogenation to form methanol. Both catalys...

Covalent grafting of the nanoporous molecular sieve MCM-41 with 3- aminopropyl trimethoxysilane and acetyl acetone (acac) successively gave modified MCM-41 (acacAmpMCM-41). Reaction of the resulted material with glycine afforded the corresponding supported glycine Schiff base ligand and subsequent reaction with [bis(acetylacetonato)dioxomolybdenum(VI)] was lead to molybdenum complex suppor...
متن کاملSO42−/Sn-MMT Solid Acid Catalyst for Xylose and Xylan Conversion into Furfural in the Biphasic System
A sulphated tin ion-exchanged montmorillonite (SO4/Sn-MMT) was successfully prepared by the ion exchange method of montmorillonite (MMT) with SnCl4, followed by the sulphation. This catalysis was applied as a solid acid catalyst for the heterogeneous catalytic transformations of xylose and xylan into furfural in the bio-based 2-methyltetrahydrofuran/H2O biphasic system. These prepared catalysts...
